We are a home away from home; providing safe natural, nurturing environment for the optimal development of social, emotional, cognitive, physical abilities of your child.

About us

Learning and practicing life skills such as high self-esteem and positive social interactions in these programs development of social skills are projected through focusing on play.

Learning to become a positive, creative, high self-esteem individual is emphasized. Children participate in setting rules and planning our program activities.

A special effort is made to facilitate transition between home; school and the childcare centre.

Program Types

School year Program: September-June monthly program including prod day care.

In this program beside our regular curriculum, we provide home work support , field trips,and extra curricular activities inspired by stuff and children.

Vacation Day Camps : Winter,Spring, Summer School Breaks- weekly program

Curriculum

Curriculum is based on love of out doors, traditional games, and character development.

Children connect to out door activities many different ways. Daily walks, extended playground time, field trips take up very large portion of our program.

Children are envolved in traditional ways of playing by learning to play board and card games, chess, lego, house corner, and similar social activities. Seasonal introductory sessions of science, cooking, baking, poetry, yoga and similar activities are incorporated in our program. We are a no-screen time facility. The only time children can use their electronic devices if it is for homework.

Children are encouraged and taught to use active negotiation skills, in conflict resolutions, and other social situations during interactions with others. This program is created for language development of children in various social settings. Staff of Treasure Island is trained in using mentoring technics to help children rapidly develop excellent verbal skills in such social situations.
